Phoenix put away the Hawks 117-110 in a game they never trailed & Super Dario Returns!

The Phoenix Suns hosted the Atlanta Hawks in their return home to the Phoenix Arena after am eastern road trip.

In the Weekly Roundup I called out Crowder, Dario and Cam Johnson as our Struggling Suns, but it seems home really is where the heart is.

Super Dario made his triumphant return with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. 12 of those points came in the 2nd quarter, where he was back to banging down low, with crafty post moves and hitting open jump shots. The hoop must have felt 10 ft wide for Saric as he shot 3 for 3 from downtown and 7 of 8 overall.

We're thrilled to have you back Dario.

Jae Crowder was also able to shake off his 0 of 9 3-point shooting performance against the Hornets, to go 5 of 8 from downtown, including a 4-point play to essentially secure the win, with 23 seconds to go.

Crowder finished the game with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Devin Booker had an underwhelming shooting performance going 2 of 7 from 3 and 8 of 19 overall. He finished the game with a team leading 21 points.

Torrey Craig had another strong showing. He provided 12 points and 8 rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench, including an emphatic 2 handed slam.

Although Atlanta were able to tie the game at 105 with 3 minutes remaining, the Suns led the whole game.

As you can see, Phoenix almost let the game go again in the 4th, but key plays and experience prevailed, as we won our 3rd game in row.

Next on the schedule is a visit from the Chicago Bulls tonight. Another winnable game, while the revamped Bulls get used to playing together. It'll be the 2nd time in a week that we will have faced Nikola Vucevic, last time with the Magic. He had 27 points and 14 rebounds in that game.
