Overall Record: 5-5. 9th in the Western Conference.

Centre of The Sun
The first 10 games are in the books and the Suns are at .500! Personally, I think that's so impressive, considering the projections from NBA media, the competition we've faced and the injuries we've contended with. The schedule this coming week looks easier on paper, so I believe we can be 3 or 4 games over .500 this time next week - who'd have thought it, ay?!
So, how have they done this? Since pre-season we've been talking about their never give up attitude and their activity on both ends of the floor, but lets have a quick look at some of the numbers which back this up. Here are the areas that the team are in the top 10.
3rd in 3-pts made,
5th in 3-pt attempts
10th in 3-pt percentage
7th in assists
5th in steals
9th in offensive rebounds
10th in forced turnovers
We finally got to see Jalen Green in a Suns uniform. His debut was fantastic, as he led the team with 29 points - more on his performance below, but the way he did it was effortless and all part of the Suns' offense.
The next game saw Dillon Brooks return to the team after injury and it meant that for the first time this season the Suns had all players available and healthy. That only lasted 6 minutes though, as Green re-injured the hamstring that had kept him out of all our games thus far.
Get well soon Jalen! 🫡
Other Suns Stuff
This week's 'Other Stuff' is a stats section, because we're 10 games in so there are lots of social posts floating around with them. Here are my favourites:
3-Point Marksmen
Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale have been on fire from 3 for the Suns. They are currently tied for 3rd for most 3's this season with 36 and tied for 4th in 3's per game at 3.6.
Book Making History
This stat is a game out of date, but after 9 games Book is the only player in NBA history with the following:
30+ PPG
7+ APG
50+ FG%
40+ 3PT FG%
85+ FT%
Collin Making History
Collin is just the 2nd player in NBA history with 100+ PTS, 50+ AST & 25+ 3PM off the bench through the first 10 games of a season.
Superstar Watch (Season stats):
Devin Booker - 29.3 Points, 4.7 Rebounds, 7.2 Assists, 0.7 Steals, 50.0 FG%, 41.0 3PT FG% & 4.2 Turnovers

Scorching Suns:
Mark Williams
Mark has been great so far and is so important for our team (especially when you check out his back-ups). He has a non-stop motor and has been impressive on both sides of the ball.
His stats for the week:
16.0 Points, 10.7 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, 1.7 Steals & 58.6 FG%
Grayson Allen
His stats for the week:
16.0 Points, 2.3 Rebounds, 4.0 Assists, 2.3 Steals, 45.0 FG% & 48.0 3PT FG%
Struggling Suns:
Oso Ighodaro
I expected it to happen at some point, but as we've faced teams with bigger front courts, Oso has seen his effectiveness fall and his minutes have followed suit. He started the season passing well and grabbing some rebounds, but his contributions have been next to nothing, which is why he's losing his minutes .
His stats for the week:
0.7 Points, 2.7 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, 0.3 Steals, 0.7 Blocks & 20.0 FG%.
Stat Line(s) of the Week:
Jalen Green Vs LA Clippers (Game 1)
We finally got to see Jalen Green in a Suns uniform and he put on a show. His 29 points are the 2nd highest in franchise history for a debuting player. The only guy above him is the one and only Charles Barkley.
Game stat line:
29 Points, 3 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 10/20 FGs (50.0%) & 6/13 3PT FGs (46.2%)
Devin Booker Vs LA Clippers (Game 2)
The Clippers made it harder for Book to score after he pretty much had his way with them in the previous game, so he focussed on the other parts of the game - assists and rebounds and almost landed his first regular season triple-double.
Game stat line:
21 Points, 10 Rebounds, 9 Assists & 8/19 FGs (42.1%).
Devin Booker Vs Golden State Warriors
Book put up a season high 38 points against the Warriors on efficient 2-pointers and getting to the free throw line, where he hit all 11 of his attempts (also a season high).
Game stat line:
30 Points, 3 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 1 Steal & 13/24 FGs (54.2%).
Rookie Watch (Season stats):
Khaman Maluach - 5 games, 0 starts
2.2 Points, 0.4 Rebounds, 0.2 Assists, 0.0 Steals, 0.4 Blocks, 50.0 FG%, 0.0 3PT FG% & 0.4 Turnovers
Rasheer Fleming - 5 games, 0 starts
1.0 Points, 1.0 Rebounds, 0.4 Assists, 0.2 Steals, 0.0 Blocks, 22.2 FG%, 25.0 3PT FG% & 0.0 Turnovers
Koby Brea - 1 game
4.0 Points, 0.0 Rebounds, 1.0 Assists, 0.0 Steals, 0.0 Blocks, 50.0 FG%, 0.0 3PT FG% & 0.0 Turnovers
CJ Huntley - 0 games
0.0 Points, 0.0 Rebounds, 0.0 Assists, 0.0 Steals, 0.0 Blocks, 0.0 FG%, 0.0 3PT FG% & 0.0 Turnovers
Upcoming Games:
On paper this is potentially the easiest week we'll have all season. The Hawks are sitting at 5-5 currently and 9th in the East, but apart from that, we face 3 of the 4 worst teams (record wise) in the league this week.
Prediction:
I'm not going to overthink this one - I'm saying we win all these games.

Here are the league standings after week 3.
