The Suns were able to defeat a short-handed Orlando Magic team that were only able to field 8 players, thanks to illness and injury.

The win takes Phoenix's record to 17-9 on the season, good for 4th in the Western Conference. This is the team's 6th win in a row and their 9th win in 10 games.

Booker started hot with 17 points in the 1st quarter (1 more than the whole Magic team) along with 3 rebounds & 3 assists, totalling 27 for the game. Bridges added 21 points (3-5 from 3) and Crowder & CP3 both contributed 12 apiece.

Deandre Ayton had a quiet offensive game with 10 points, but did an excellent job on Nikola Vucevic, holding him to only 14 points on the game, a night after scoring 42 in Sacramento. DA also had his usual double digit rebounds with 13.

Phoenix led from start to finish and at one point led by 27. It was good for them to put away a struggling team, as so far this season that hasn't always been the case, as evidenced by loses to Detroit, Washington and OKC. As Monty Williams put it after the game "to come in and handle our business is huge for us.”

Our next game sees us take on the Brooklyn Nets, in a homecoming of sorts for Suns legend and Brooklyn head coach Steve Nash.
