On the second night of a back-to-back the Suns lose 86-99.

For only the 3rd time this season the Phoenix Suns were held to under 100 points. When you glance at the box score you do have to wince a bit, as we only shot 40% from the field and 17% (that's not a typo) from 3. The guys just looked tired out on the floor and it's definitely thanks to this extremely tough road trip they're on right now.

It was actually the oldest guys on the floor, Chris Paul, who looked most spritely and did his best to keep the team in the game. The Point God had 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in this one, with Charles Barkley once again proclaiming on TNT, that he should be in the MVP conversation.

Another aging point guard, Kemba Walker was the catalyst for Boston's win here. He had the type of performance that we used to see weekly when he played for the Hornets. He led the game with 32 points on 64% shooting. He truly was the main difference, with Boston having a rough game themselves, managing only 42% from the field and 30% from 3.

Devin Booker had an off game here. He had 5 turnovers and fouled out of the game about half way through the 4th quarter. Booker was asked about the amount of fouls he picked up and visibly frustrated answered, "Just no respect".

He managed just 15 points on 42% shooting by the time he picked up that 5th foul. Look for him to come out blazing in the next game.

Deandre Ayton seemed to be feeling the after effects of battling with MVP candidate Joel Embiid on Wednesday night. He looked very lackadaisical out on the floor, rather like earlier in the season. It was quite disappointing to see, especially as Boston's only true big guy in this game was Tristan Thompson. He took multiple jump shots and passed the ball out to others, when recently we've seen him attack the basket with force and only shoot the J when necessary. He finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

This is definitely one to forget about. The team gets a few days to rest up now, before another back-to-back against the Nets and Knicks.

Sunday is we have the Nets. For those in the UK, it's a great tip time: 8:30pm and for those that don't have Sky Sports, they are streaming it live and for free on their YouTube channel.
