Suns defeat the Bulls 121 - 116 for 4th win in a row.

The Chicago Bulls were without their starting guards, Zach LaVine and Coby White (Wow bro! - yeah him) and key reserve Garratt Temple. Book took full advantage of this, in dropping a season high 45 points on an incredible 70% shooting. Chris Paul also took advantage of the opportunity adding 19 points and 14 assists.

Though the game followed the pattern we've seen recently with Phoenix creating a 16 point lead in the 3rd quarter, only to see that reduced to as little as 3 in the final minute, like recent times, the Suns were able to hang on. Clutch shots and free throws from Booker, CP3 and Ayton helped secure the win.

Speaking of Ayton, where was he most of the game? Things looked bright, as he finished an alley-oop for the opening bucket of the game, but then didn't do much else till the 4th quarter. To be fair he had a brilliant stretch in the 4th where he stopped Vucevic scoring on 3 straight possessions. He also hit 2 free throws in the closing minutes. Ayton finished with 10 points and only 4 rebounds. Rebounding for the team as a whole was a problem, as the Bulls won the rebounding battle 50-32 and had 18 offensive rebounds. Dario Saric had the most rebounds at only 5.

These rebounds essentially kept Chicago in the game, as the Suns shot an impressive 56.8% for the game and 44% from 3.

Dario Saric had another sold game off the bench shooting 6 of 9 for 16 points. The 2nd game in a row that he has been back performing at a 6th man of the year candidate level.

As mentioned above this is the Suns' 4th win in a row. We remain in 2nd place in the West, 3 games behind Utah and 2 games ahead of the Clippers.

I've said it before, but we need to rack up as many wins as we can now, as the end of this month has a hugely tough stretch as we go on the road and visit 5 of the top 8 teams in the east, followed by the Clippers and Utah at home.

Next game is at home again, against the OKC Thunder on Friday.
