Booker missed all but 4 minutes of the Nuggets game this week, with a sore groin. All were excited for his return on Christmas Day, for him to almost immediately re-aggravate it 4 minutes in.
We only managed one victory this week, with DA, Mikal and CP3 combining for 69 (Gigidy) points. The rest of the week didn't go as well though.
Landry Shamet had a career high 31 points, with 9 3-pointers against the Wizards and DA added 30 points and 13 rebounds, but we lost by 3. Kyle Kuzma dropped 29 points on us, in a great audition for James Jones 😜.
We then got blown out by the Grizzlies, which to be honest was no surprise as it would have been a tough game, even at full strength. Ayton led the team scoring 18.
The Christmas Day match-up looked to be a fun one, but as above we lost Book straight away.
Despite this the Suns fought hard and only let the game slip with some costly mistakes at the end of regulation and overtime. Shamet matched his career high of 31 set earlier in the week, Ayton had a 22 point, 16 rebound game, but it again wasn't enough.

Upcoming Games:
We have 3 games this week, all on the road.

I'm not expecting much this week. We face the Grizzlies and Wizards again and our injury woes have got worse. The Raptors are also always a difficult match-up for us as well, with their length and athleticism.
Predictions:
Unfortunately, I don't see this week going well at all. I'm predicting 3 losses.

New Owners
It was announced this week that Mat Ishbia, a Michigan based mortgage company CEO has had his $4 billion bid accepted by Robert Sarver. It usually takes a couple of months for the NBA to agree sales, but this is awesome news for the Suns and Mercury.
